Just a man.

Hooray for lack of posting!
Wait...
wait... that's not right.
BOO for lack of posting! :(
BOOOOOOO >:(

All of my art energy has been put into work lately. I'm boarding on 'Rapunzel' which is so wicked sweet that i want to use every bead of energy i have rockin' on it. Unfortunately this leaves me pretty burnt out on my own stuff, but i'm working on fixing that. In the meantime, here's the entry i did for John Allison's 'Feats of Strength!' contest over at Scarygoround. I may have botched the entry procedure (on top of submitting it a wee bit late) so here's hoping it actually makes it into the running. In case it doesn't... here 'tis.

Gawd, I feel like Rapunzel has been in the Disney pipeline since we were in high school. Am I tripping here?

You had better make it AWESOME, Lissa. If Rapunzel sucks I am holding you personally responsible.

<3 your SGR. It will surely win.

Oo! I really like your style! I came over from SGR to check out some more of your work. Neat stuff! I'll have to come back and poke around some more.

So he's part fish, part lizard and part newt ?

(lizards don't grow their limbs back, but newts do, I think)

hello, another SGR-surfer here... if the title of this post is a reference to the Queen soundtrack to "Flash Gordon", well, that's just f-ing awesome.

good comic, too :)

I just saw this on SGR - I wanted to also post there but it looks like comments on SGR are turned off.

Really really lovely! Terrific colors. Cute and funny expressions and body language. Wow! You really captured Moon and Des in your own style.

hey i loved your strip over at scary-go-round.
excellent art, you got the charaters right and to top it off it was a great little joke!

For real, I'd like to see a regular comic with similar art.

(sgr as well) Reading your entry here amused me, what with you winning and all.
I was hoping you had a regular comic because your style is fantastic, as is your sense of comedic timing.

A fine SGR comic. "Delightful" does indeed seem to be the right word. It's good to see Mr. Allison picked the right entry and didn't let a little thing like 'submission rules' get in the way.

I, too, found you from Scary Go Round, where I loved your strip. I was really impressed and sorry to not find more. Your art was unique yet matched the strip, the characters very true to the story and well researched, and the joke just subtle enough to make me come back, just so I can smile at their expressions again.

Thanks!

That sgr entry was wonderful. Your characters look so dynamic, I feel an instant connection to them. It's like the anti-Hopper.

(reminder for future: check chairs for legs, no big deal)
